Customer Service - Techncial Support - Euless, Texas

The Gund Company has an immediate opening at our Euless, TX manufacturing plant for a full-time Manufacturing Customer Service - Technical Support, 1st shift to join our team!.

  •  Shift: First 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday 
  • Starting Hourly Wage: $20
  • Plant/Work Location: 3010 S. Pipeline, Euless, TX 76040

The Gund Company is in the business of engineered material manufacturing.

We are the industry leader in manufacturing and fabricating specialized engineered thermoplastic materials that provide a unique performance advantage. (think: Customized non-conductive parts for diverse industries). We manufacture and fabricate custom parts from drawings and sample parts (reverse engineering).

What are we looking for? 

  • Accurately respond to customer inquiries and quote requests in a timely manner (order status and product information). 
  • Build relationships with TGC’s customers. 
  • Ability to navigate through database systems to enter quotes and customer orders. (ERP-CRM software)
  • Coordinate with the Production Department to obtain accurate job cost estimates. 
  • Manage customer inventory requirement through use of Purchase Requisition Process with our Switchgear Market
  • This position reports to Daniel King, Value Stream Manager.  
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers to understand and respond to their needs in a timely manner. 
  • Proficiency with Windows based software including Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Basic to intermediate math aptitudes and detail oriented. (interpreting detailed information from work orders)

What do we need from you? 

  • 2+ years’ customer service experience, required. 
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, detail- oriented environment, required.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints, preferred. 
  • Proficient reading comprehension skills, required. 
  • intermediate to advanced math skills, required. 
  • Proficient problem-solving skills. 
  • College degree in business or related, preferred.
