Meeting Sponsor: Lucas Funeral Home & Cremation Services
Our speaker this month is Melissa Miller with Edward Jones. Melissa has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Prior to coming to Edward Jones, she was the SVP of operations for over 200 broker dealers and registered investment advisors while working at Apex Clearing. Her desire to help families and small business owners led me to Edward Jones.
Melissa's primary goal as a full-service financial advisor is to develop customized investment strategies. Whether you need to save for an emergency fund, pay for a child's college education, reduce taxes or plan for retirement, she can help by partnering with you to determine the most appropriate and cost-efficient financial strategy for your family or your business. Melissa often work closely with your CPA, attorney and other professionals to ensure our approach is in line with your tax and estate strategy as well.
Melissa met my husband, Jason, while earning my bachelor's degree in business administration at the University of Texas- Arlington and graduated with honors magna cum laude. While attending the University, she played point guard for the women's basketball team and led them to the first post-season tournament in school history in 1999. She is also a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute from The Wharton School of Business. Jason and Melissa have been happily married since 2001 and have four children.
Come join us as Melissa gives us helpful and informative financial management solutions during this meeting. She welcomes the opportunity to learn what's most important to your family and your business. It all starts with a conversation.
