Description
This tournament is named in honor of Dr. Wilson Canafax, a past senior pastor at First United Methodist Church of Hurst and an avid golfer.
All proceeds from the 30th Annual Canafax Scramble benefit Mission Central.
Mission Central empowers our neighbors with the tools to improve their own quality of life. They are on a journey to empower our neighbors by ensuring they have access to food and health services, job training and connections, and support for their children’s education. Their vision is a community where every person thrives, so that our community as a whole thrives. They accomplish this vision through exercising their CORE values: Compassion, Open-Mindedness, Respect and Empowerment. Moving forward, Mission Central is focused on maintaining and improving their excellent emergency support programs and growing to provide our community with tools to eliminate poverty altogether.

8 a.m.: Shotgun Start
SCRAMBLE format
1 p.m.: Awards Dinner
Adult Golfer: $150
Junior Golfer (age 21 and younger) $75
Walk-up Fee (at event): $175
Fee includes: Green fee, range balls, breakfast box, awards dinner, door prize ticket, ONE $10,000 hole-in-one chance ($5,000 to player, $5,000 to Mission Central), THREE hole-in-one trip chances, putting contests, ONE mulligan and sand trap insurance.
Multiple Cash Prizes awarded throughout the round plus great door prizes.
