Calyn Settle
After earning her bachelor’s degree from TCU in 2015, Calyn Settle immediately took the plunge into the marketing and advertising world. First working for a few years at a local ad agency, she next made her move to Pier 1 Imports as a brand loyalty specialist. Craving something a bit more impactful, Cayln jumped at the opportunity to work as Marketing Director for her dad, personal injury attorney Brad Parker.
Parker Law Firm is a boutique law firm with offices in Bedford and Fort Worth, focusing on a select number of catastrophic personal injury cases. As marketing director for the firm, Cayln manages all things social media, email marketing, community events, online advertising, SEO, and more.
Patty Marshall
Patty began her career in marketing roles for the Dallas and Arlington Chambers of Commerce.
For 15 years, she helped promote DFW as a place to live and do business. Working directly with the stakeholders in the community, she oversaw programming and events to strengthen
economic impact by growing business.
Patty entered agency life in 2005, and ultimately became a partner in her advertising agency.
She was exposed to numerous marketing tactics including print, digital, television, and out of
home strategies. She also served as managing partner responsible for client acquisition, strategy implementation, and internal operations of the agency.
Pier 98 Marketing was formed in 2015 to put Patty’s expertise to work for small businesses. She now works with local companies providing agency level services in the areas of branding, online strategies, and traditional marketing strategies.
Cheri Garcia
Cheri Garcia is the founder and CEO of Cornbread Hustle, a staffing agency for second chances. As a recovering alcoholic and meth addict, Cheri created Cornbread Hustle to help people with criminal backgrounds and those in recovery find meaningful, full-time jobs. Cheri's career includes extensive experience in public relations, marketing, consumer product development, and television news reporting.
