SUMMARY:NLF Membership Breakfast Meeting
DESCRIPTION:NLF Members\, it is time to make your reservation to attend the \n\nAugust 12 NLF membership breakfast.\n\nWe are excited to continue our tradition of hosting key experts in fields that are paramount to our region's success and viability. Texas is experiencing a surge in energy demand\, with projections indicating a potential doubling by 2030. This growth is driven by various factors\, including population increases\, extreme weather events\, the rise of data centers and cryptocurrency mining\, and the electrification of oil and gas operations. Holly Raeder and NLF member Scott Baumbach of ONCOR Electric Delivery will be updating us on ONCOR's efforts to accommodate the unprecedented increases in demand.\n\n \n\nAugust's breakfast sponsor is Community Enrichment Center (CEC). For 35 years\, the CEC has been a partner in change for low-income neighbors in Tarrant County\, offering support to victims of family violence\, the homeless\, and struggling families and seniors. Through services like employment readiness\, high school equivalency\, financial coaching\, safe housing\, and basic necessities\, the CEC helps move individuals from crisis to stability.
