Description
WILD is "Women Inspiring Leadership Development." Our speaker this month is Dr. Faye Beaulieu. Dr. Faye Beaulieu is the Senior VP of Community Investment for United Way of Tarrant County. She has been employed by the agency for 16 years, originally focusing on the northeast portion of the county, but now officing in Fort Worth. Her job duties entail both fundraising and community planning. She is a past president of the North Texas Area Association of School Boards, finance chair for First United Methodist Church of Bedford and member of the American Association of University Women. She has also served as president of the Northeast Leadership Forum and remains on their board.
Beaulieu has served the Hurst-Euless-Bedford (HEB) ISD as a trustee for the past 24 years, and has served as President of that board for six years. She served as President of the Texas Association of School Boards in 2014 and Immediate Past President the following year.
With regard to community service, Beaulieu has received the Distinguished Leadership Award from the Northeast Leadership Forum, and the Community Service Award and the Clyde Mooney Award from the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Chamber of Commerce.
Beaulieu earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mississippi University for Women and her PhD in English from the University of Mississippi.
Married to Walt for 40 years, Beaulieu is the mother of four, all alumni of Trinity High School in HEB ISD and all college graduates, and the grandmother of four.
