Description
Tarrant County Commissioner Gary Fickes presents the 8th Annual Northeast Tarrant Transportation Summit.
This year's featured speaker is Kent Larson. He directs the City Science Initiative and the Changing Places group at the MIT Media Lab. Kent's research focuses on developing urban interventions that enable cities to create entrepreneurial, livable, high-performance districts. His TED talk, "Brilliant Designs to Fit More People in Every City," has been viewed more than a million times. From better bike lanes to folding cars, Kent will present several innovative ideas designed to improve our quality of life.
In addition, sessions will be offered on the future of the supply chain, autonomous vehicle development and how transportation and urban design will intersect in the future. The Summit will not only help you keep up with key trends, it will help you keep ahead of them. Register now at the link above or call the Chamber, 817-283-1521.
